Individual Reflective report
1. Team work
In this report, I am going to describe my role in helping the team to achieve its goal in relation to the team report and the practical negotiation exercise. Also I will provide evidence of my contribution to the cohesiveness of the team, how I facilitated the completion of the team goals and what I have learnt in the making of the business plan of every part, such as what I have learnt from the team management, what I have learnt from the alternative scenarios, what I have learnt from the using of Porter’s five forces.
Our team includes Miss Thanh ,Mr. Xiu Yun ,Miss Ngoc. We three are good friends and we belive that running a business takes a strong commitment. The field we are passionate about is same, which is food area. We feel that starting a business is not just for financial gains, but what we enjoy most is the feeling of pride we get when seeing happy customers enjoy our food. We bend ourselves to providing the finest quality of pruducts and excellent customer services and think the quality of the products and services are very important. Also we respect our employees, partners and attach importance to the development of both the company and our emplyees. These same attitudes toward business bring us together.
At the beginning of the business plan, we didn’t divide the assignment because all of us believe that this summarizing of the information is the basis of the business plan. Each of us should make a conclusion of the knowledge we got from the academic books and other study materials, for example, each of us should sum up what is a business plan, what a business plan should include,how to start a business, what business books advise. We did this job seperately, then, we got together to discuss and gave out the outline of the business plan. Finishing this procedure, all of us knew well the different parts of the business plan. Our business plan covers the market, consumer analysis, competition, product features and benefits, competitive analysis, advertising and promotion, sales, research and development,
people, payback and professional financial projections.
We, three partners, have experience in and knowledge of the business we plan to enter. We have experience working in the industry or with successful owners. The two of us have experience in management of people and finances. This is extremely helpful since each of us have something that we are good at . According to what we are good at, then we divided the work into three parts. What I was responsible for are the management of the team and the analysis of Porter’s five forces. I was involved in decision making, providing ideas and opinions, running the sessions and the analyzing of Porter’s five forces. I motivated co-workers and self to reach goals, did strategic
